resist young people, and in order to avoid violations, asked to sleep with themselves those who are
younger. Andreyev also belonged to happy age. He chose the youngest and saw off her to sleep with itself. But
when he offered her the more basic desire to satisfy, she shook the head and timidly whispered: 'Das an east
of Knicks gutnut' (it is not good), I still the girl. The last words even more excited our hero, and he began to
demand satisfaction of the claims more persistently. She long refused until he took out a gun. Then she became
silent, and, shivering, lowered breeches. He asked her whether she knows that it means 'get to wave'. She long did
not understand, but then nevertheless answered 'gutnut large objects'. Then he advised, a nod on a gun,
'only gutnut large objects, and in any way not differently!', and she understood, having grasped him is strong,
began to be pushed to him towards. So, amicably working, they came to the purpose. He felt that something burst,
the girl screamed and moaned «Oh, Kute, Kute», however soon managed to force to smile themselves.
He dressed up her in a civil dress, and she left to the cheerful and innocent.

In the middle of the day I and Kanonenko were called by Rysev. He was polite and kind. Invited to sit down,
timidly started statement of the requirement.
I received a task to direct all trench and defensive actions on which implementation I was given all staff of
division. I listened, left to myself and waiting for fighters a bath where they washed with Shitikov at the head,
began to reread letters and to prepare on them answers. I am easily appeased. Having met such lovely address
of Rysev I for some reason scrupled the official report which sent addressed to the chief of a political department
yesterday, and the day before yesterday Kanonenko helped to issue and send there.
Once again I reproached already a bit later when I before send to a business trip learned 5 days of arrest
about Kanonenko's removal, and again met the smiling Rysev in an economic platoon in backs of battalion. But
was already late and I can make nothing now.
The fact is that to my absence there will arrive the commission, will sort, and God knows that there on me can be
told. I did not need to hurry, Shitikov stood aside and likely again will come off clear. However, now not before.
Dead of night. The Moring is dead, except for commandant's office and military units on its outskirts.

           16 or 06.17.
Well and the job fell to my lot. To plunder Academy of Sciences!. Would Never think that I will be capable of
such dirty business, and both people and circumstances force. A dirty trick in the temple of science and only!
The fact is that our politicians decided to create library to a regiment. Somewhere once the propagandist nosed
out the big warehouse of the Russian book given by time and negligent attitude of the personnel servicing
           department to desolation.
Having bribed protection «having washed» the stay in academy, he got access to all its corners.
Decided to begin with me. Caused (I was on duty on battalion) through the battalion commander, ordered to bring
together seven people knowing literature, put on the car and took away to the downtown in the long, zigzag way
on which without map it was hardly possible to understand and return to the camp. Caused unexpectedly. I
believed for a while and left all the records, all draft copies, letters, verses in a bedside table.
Returned in the evening and to the horror and a despair learned that the battalion left. Did not find the works, a
bedside table too, some letters on a floor lonely reminded of the existence. I picked up them, rummaged around
all the room empty now and, having despaired, ran out on the yard. There at once came across the propagandist of
a regiment. He forced getting on the car, and we went. With us there were seven people.
The first two days we touched books with the Russian stamps and the seals. The books which are obviously stolen
from us in libraries therefore I did not feel a remorse yet if not opposite.
The only thing and the biggest inconvenience was for all of us and for me especially sticky, suffocating dust
covering all books with a thick layer from within and outside of a book wall. Only the day before I
washed regimental, but now it took such terrible form that it was just a shame to seem on the street. My face and
hands blackened, the undercollar became dirty, and the peakcap which I bought on a cap in exchange, and before
